Mandarin Orange Pepper Pork Loin Roast

We wanted to make something using one of our brand new Pepper Spreads!  These products are absolutely delicious.  There are so many tasty uses for them.  We grabbed a pork loin roast and a jar of our Mandarin Orange Pepper Spread and cooked up this recipe.  Be sure to check out all our flavors!  In addition to the Mandarin Orange Pepper Spread, we also have a Raspberry Chipotle Pepper Spread, a Strawberry Pepper Spread, and a Blueberry Pepper Spread.  Be sure to contact us with other great ways you come up with to use these products!  The possibilities are endless...

Ingredients

  • 2 Tablespoons House of Webster Mandarin Orange Pepper Spread
  • 1 Tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1 Teaspoon yellow mustard
  • 2 1/2 to 3 pounds pork loin roast
  • Onion Powder
  • Garlic Powder
  • Salt & Pepper

Directions

 1) Preheat oven to 475 degrees F.  Line baking pan with foil.

2) Combine Mandarin Orange Pepper Spread, Worcestershire sauce, and mustard and whisk together.

3)  Sprinkle the underside of the pork loin roast with onion powder, garlic powder, salt and pepper.  Place roast in the pan with the fat side up.  Pour the pepper spread mix evenly over the top, then sprinkle with onion powder, garlic powder, salt and pepper.  Crumple corners of the foil within 1 inch around the pork roast and fold in so the juices will stay in the foil when cooking.

4)  Place in the oven for 45 minutes.  Reduce heat to 375 degrees F and cook for an additional 20 minutes.  Turn off the oven, leaving the roast insside, and let sit for 30 minutes.

5)  Serve with Mandarin Orange Pepper Spread over the sliced pork loin roast (optional).
